Principal's Message
Instituted in 1993, MES Kishora Kendra Junior College came into being as the realization of a vision to provide a conducive environment for learning. It is an unaided, co-educational college recognized by the Department of School Education (Pre-University), Government of Karnataka. Thirty years into serving students, the college now has a student strength of about 960 and offers courses in Science and Commerce.
It has good infrastructure that includes spacious classrooms, equipped with multi – projection interactive projectors, well equipped laboratories, an extensive library and a newly upgraded indoor sports facility.
Dedication and synergy are the chief attributes of our team of well qualified, experienced and skilled faculty performing dual roles as teachers and mentors, to meet the intellectual needs of students and equip them with life skills to face the challenges ahead.

Principal, MES KK PU College
In its three-decade long journey, the college has repeatedly proven itself academically, with its students’ securing ranks in II PUC Public Examinations and in competitive exams like CET, JEE, NEET, NATA, CLAT etc. and gaining entry into premier institutions in India like BITS Pilani, IITs, NITs, NLS, IISc and reputed medical colleges. The college has been consistently getting a pass percentage of ninety and above, becoming a much sought-after PU College in the city.
To make the learning process a complete and meaningful one, the college has laid due emphasis on art, culture and sports besides academics. In addition to conducting periodic tests, exams and parent teacher meetings, the institution also has various clubs headed by student convenors, organizing a number of literary, cultural, science, commerce and sports activities. Lectures by eminent scientists and scholars in various fields are a regular feature. Drama and music workshops have also been conducted. Interact Club and Rangers and Rovers inculcate social responsibility in students, by carrying out many innovative projects involving community service every year. The college celebrates national festivals to instill a sense of patriotism in students.
Our students are part of the NCC unit of the MES College of Arts, Commerce and Science. Students participate & win medals at the inter collegiate, state, national and international level tournaments, sports meets and science Olympiads.
The hallmarks of the institution have been a transparent admission process, affordable fees, a secular and inclusive approach, a highly competent team of motivated teachers and an atmosphere that encourages the wholesome development of students, in an environment of discipline, centered around sound values and principles. The diverse professions that we find our alumni in, the positions of responsibility that they hold bear testimony to what is at the core of the MES mission and that is ‘Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it’.
Thus, for all those associated with the college – staff and students – the MES Kishora Kendra PU College experience has been an enriching and a fulfilling one.
Only time can tell what changes we will witness in the education system, but MES Kishora Kendra PU College will move onward and will surely emerge as a benchmark for the highest form of learning in the nation.
